2022 ADA Coordinator Seminars
Based on the 2010 Department of Justice ADA regulations, we will provide awareness level seminars for all newly assigned ADA Coordinators, facilities management personnel, or anyone that needs to begin implementation of their ADA program. The ADA Coordinator Seminars may also serve as a refresher for those with existing ADA knowledge. The Department of Justice recommends that all entities, regardless of size, have an ADA Coordinator or designated liaison. This training will provide valuable insight on the following aspects:
- Planning and Coordinating Overall Compliance Efforts
- Developing and Implementing a Grievance Procedure
- Coordinating a Self-Evaluation
- Transition Plans
- Employer Responsibilities
- Guidance for Reasonable Accommodations, Effective Communication, Essential Job Functions, and Service Animals
- Safety Concerns
- Documentation of Disability
- Non-Discriminatory Hiring Practices
